Naya Nayon Ponchos are original authentic ponchos from the Andes of Ecuador in South America.

In the north of the highlands of the Andes in Ecuador, lies the town of Otavalo. The Otavalo Indians live in and around Otavalo.
The Otavalo Indians have been weaving ponchos for over a thousand years and they also make the ponchos for Naya Nayon.

Naya Nayon works closely with several families in Otavalo who weave the ponchos, scarves and blankets for us.
These are small companies where usually a family with a few employees work.
And the weaving art of a thousand-year tradition can be seen in every fiber of the poncho, blankets and scarves.

Naya Nayon

Naya Nayon is a unique concept. Naya Nayon is located in Quito, Ecuador. It was founded by Onno Heerma van Voss, a Dutch forestry engineer who settled there in 1999.
